The 33-year-old achieved the feat during Afghanistan's first innings in the one-off Test against Bangladesh at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, scoring 105*(216). Shah took over as Afghanistan's Test and ODI captain from Hashmatullah Shahidi in July this year.
