At least 40 houses disappeared completely across five settlements in Gorkha district after flash floods hit Nepal for the second time in over one month. Four people are reported missing after floods began around 4:00 am in Chumnubri Rural Municipality, reportedly after a landslide blocked a stream. Like previous floods, the recent one has also damaged bridges and hydropower projects.
