Students raise local issues at Bantwal Youth Parliament. Unemployment, inadequate college infrastructure, scholarship delays, healthcare shortages, rural transport and drug abuse came under scrutiny as students from six colleges participated in a Youth Parliament session at the Bantwal taluk panchayat meeting hall. Modelled on the proceedings of a legislative assembly, the programme gave students an opportunity to discuss these issues.
