US senator, who said 'India better clean up your act', criticises Trump's oil deal with Putin. US Senator Richard Blumenthal, who in September told India and China to "clean up your act" over Russian oil purchases, has called US President Donald Trump's deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to buy Russian oil an "embarrassment". "This agreement with a murdering dictator is a stain on our nation's character, an insult to Lindsey Graham's memory," Blumenthal added.
