"The Friedkin Group is exploring new investment options for Everton Football Club, including the potential sale of a controlling interest," the Houston-based company, led by American billionaire Dan Friedkin, said in a statement on Friday. The group acquired Farhad Moshiri's 94.1% stake in Everton in December 2024.
