BJP leader Smriti Irani questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's silence on JNU professor and Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, who was dismissed for allegedly sexually harassing 11 female students. "The same gentleman (referring to Rahul) recently spoke about smashing the patriarchy," she stated. "It's our legal framework, not Gandhi family, that upholds safety...of Indian women," Irani added.
