US suspends TCS, Infosys, Wipro from PERM programme. The US Department of Labour suspended major IT firms — Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and Capgemini — from the Permanent Labour Certification (PERM) programme. Microsoft and Adobe were also suspended amid federal investigations. Following the announcement, Wipro ADR fell 2.4% to $1.63 and Infosys ADR traded at $10.27 in US markets.
