UK Navy sailor charged with spying for foreign power. Royal Navy sailor Able Seaman Teddy Young has been charged under National Security Act over alleged attempts to obtain protected information intended to benefit an unnamed foreign power. The alleged offences occurred between November 2024 and May 2025. The 24-year-old was arrested at his home and has been remanded in custody. Police clarified the case is unrelated to RAF Fairford.
