Govt caps prices of anti-cancer drugs, may make medicines cheaper by up to 70%. Government has decided to make anti-cancer drugs cheaper in India as it limits the margin on their MRPs to 30%, reported ANI. The move will cover all non-scheduled cancer drugs, including branded and generic, domestic and imported, patented and non-patented ones. It's expected to make the medicines cheaper by up to 70% and result in annual savings of ₹2,500 crore.
