Delhi Police officials allege assault by Congress workers during anti-CEC protest. Two Delhi Police personnel, who were allegedly kicked and assaulted during Wednesday's Congress workers' protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, said they were attacked while attempting to manage the crowd. Constable Devendar Sandhu and Head Constable Bhupender Ahlawat said the situation escalated when the police attempted to remove the protesters after their requests were allegedly ignored.
