A controversy has emerged in Udupi after the CPI(M) alleged that a Muslim woman from Ballari was denied overnight accommodation at a lodge near the Sri Krishna Mutt on October 3 after staff members checked her Aadhaar card. The allegation has been disputed by the Paryaya Shiroor Mutt.
