22,855 caught travelling ticketless in Ferozpur division in Sept. The Ferozpur division of Northern Railway caught 22,855 passengers travelling without valid tickets in September during a special checking drive. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Basant Kumar said more than ₹2 crore was recovered as penalties. The division said regular checks are also being conducted to curb ticketless travel.
