A Zomato warehouse manager in Bengaluru was booked after a video showed him telling Kannada-speaking workers to learn Hindi or leave their jobs. The manager, identified as 31-year-old Ashok Muttayy, said he did not know Kannada and would speak only in Hindi. After protests by pro-Kannada activists, he apologised in Kannada and promised not to repeat the mistake.
