UP CM announces Bhadohi district renamed to Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday announced that Bhadohi district, known for its carpet industry, will now be called Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi. CM Yogi said the renaming would honour medieval saint Sant Ravidas, who united society through spiritual devotion. He made the announcement while inaugurating and laying foundation stones for 112 projects worth over ₹1,340 crore.
