"Now is the time to form a national emergency government". Those are the words of Israeli opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot, after the president asked him to form a new government. But the task won't be easy and Eisenkot will have to find a way to unite rival parties. Palestinian parties in Israel could provide crucial support, but risk alienating other potential partners.
