Klang’s Little India in Malaysia came alive with colourful decorations and busy bazaars as shoppers made last-minute Diwali preparations on Saturday, despite heavy rain and rising prices. Families browsed traditional clothing, jewellery, sweets and festive decorations, while some visited henna artists ahead of the Hindu Festival of Lights on November 8. However, persistent rain and flooding affected both shoppers and traders, with some families scaling back their celebrations amid rising costs.
