Goa marked Diwali with its unique Narakasura tradition, as large effigies of the demon king were set ablaze across the state. The ritual, held on the eve of Diwali, symbolises Lord Krishna's victory over Narakasura and the triumph of good over evil. Elaborately crafted effigies, often featuring striking designs and towering structures, drew crowds as communities came together to celebrate the festival.
