A Kali Puja pandal in Guwahati is showcasing three defining elements of Assam's cultural identity — its tea heritage, traditional bamboo craftsmanship and the historic Rang Ghar. Set up by Vivekananda Sporting Club in Kalapahar, the pandal carries the theme 'Colour of Soil – Tea, Bamboo and Rang Ghar'. It marks 200 years of Assam's tea industry while celebrating the state's architectural legacy, with locally sourced bamboo extensively used in its construction.
