Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali with security personnel at a CRPF camp in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, sharing sweets and festive greetings with the forces. The visit featured warm moments with personnel serving in the region and an acknowledgement of their sacrifices in the fight against Naxalism. Addressing the security personnel, Modi said this was the first Diwali since every district in the country had become free of Naxalism.
