The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) for the Western Circle has completed a safety inspection of the 44 km Tihi-Dhar rail section, bringing the long-awaited Indore-Dahod railway project closer to opening. E Srinivas conducted the two-day inspection on 5 and 6 November, examining tracks, signalling systems, electrification and the 3 km Tihi tunnel.
