Four held for alleged cockfight betting in Peruvai. Four persons were taken into custody following a raid by Vittal police for allegedly organising a cockfight involving betting at a government site in Peruvai village on October 2. Acting on information received by Vittal police Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna about a cockfight being conducted, the police team visited the location and seized the chickens along with ₹3,050 in cash.
