Srinagar, Nov 7: Security arrangements in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir, particularly along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, were strengthened on Saturday ahead of Diwali. Advertisment In Srinagar extra checkpoints were established and frisking of vehicles was witnessed at several places. The city witnessed additional deployment, besides additional measures. The measures on the strategically vital highway in south Kashmir cover key points including Vessu, Alstop, Mir Bazar, and Khudwani.
