A police probe revealed the seeds of bitterness between Indushekhar and wife Sunitha were sown following his arrest in a chain-snatching case in 2018. Sunitha reportedly distanced herself after he was arrested for allegedly stealing a woman’s gold chain in Madanayakanahalli near Nelamangala. Police allege that Indushekhar, who claims to have killed seven members of his family, sold their gold.
