Talaku police have arrested four women for allegedly stealing gold jewellery worth Rs 12.4 lakh from a passenger on a private bus by diverting her attention. Police recovered 83 grams of stolen gold ornaments from the accused. Four women have been arrested in Maharashtra for allegedly stealing gold jewellery and cash worth ₹1.78 lakh from an elderly woman travelling on a state transport (ST) bus, according to a report.
