Jharkhand is using the festive season to expand markets for rural women entrepreneurs, with more than 500 Sakhi Mandal members taking part in Palash Diwali melas across districts. The melas will continue till Nov 16. Jharkhand’s Palash Diwali melas feature 500+ Sakhi Mandal women selling diyas, idols and crafts till Nov 16, targeting Rs 1 crore in festival sales.
