The district administration on Friday found 10 families illegally occupying quarters belonging to the road construction department and two housesallegedly constructed on govt land during a survey carried out to identify govt land that has been encroached upon in Dhanbad. Affected landowners and farmer representatives have demanded clear written assurances on market valuation and fair compensation norms before field surveys or land acquisition proceed.
