Sangli: Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader and former MP Raju Shetti has demanded that sugar factories in Sangli and Satara districts follow the same. Speaking at a press conference in Sangli on Friday, Shetti said discussions involving sugar factory owners, the district collector, MP Vishal Patil and representatives of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana had earlier resulted in an agreement in principle to follow the Kolhapur model for sugarcane prices.
