Supreme Court India: The Supreme Court has resolved a decades-old power dispute ordering Punjab and Haryana to supply Himachal Pradesh with 11,973 million units of electricity arrears over the next 20 years, following disputes originating from the Bhakra Beas Management Board since 1966. The Supreme Court settled a decades-old power-sharing dispute between Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, directing the two states to pay Himachal Pradesh.
