Bhagwant Mann had also expressed his desire that all legislators of the Punjab legislative assembly visit Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. Pakistan said it would consider issuing Bhagwant Mann a visa for a Lahore conference. His proposed visit remains subject to permission from the Indian government. On Oct 23, Mann said he had been invited to attend the World Punjabi Conference in Lahore on Nov 27, but questioned whether he would be allowed.
