US Consulate officials met SCCL CMD in Hyderabad to discuss critical minerals partnerships, REE extraction, geo-science lab collaboration and data centres powered by pumped storage. The CMD said Singareni, drawing on its experience in mining, had entered the critical minerals sector and was exploring joint ventures and technological collaborations with several countries.
