The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended 28 food businesses in the city, including sweet and farsan manufacturers, hotels and restaurants, caterers, home-based food units and quick-commerce establishments. The crackdown had common safety lapses across popular eateries and retail hubs. Zepto, Blinkit and several food outlets faced action over food safety violations, while three FIRs were registered and two people arrested.
