MeitY Secretary S Krishnan says ECMS outlay has been enhanced to ₹40,000 crore from over ₹22,000 crore; scheme continues to receive applications as India pushes upstream electronics manufacturing. The government has approved a fresh tranche of 12 applications involving investments worth ₹7,503 crore under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), MeitY Secretary S Krishnan said during a press briefing on Friday in New Delhi.
