According to the suspension order issued on Wednesday evening, the ACB found that Ombhase allegedly demanded a bribe from the complainant to sign a tender file worth ₹36. “The accused, Pramod Sudhakar Ombase, 57, was serving as chief engineer in the civic body’s water supply department. He was arrested at 3pm on Thursday,” the ACB said in a press release.
