Hoskote, an urban outback not long ago and now a bustling suburb some 30km on the eastern flank of Bengaluru, is emerging as a key transport gateway to the tech capital, with a proposed Metro extension, high-speed rail corridors and Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway converging around the eastern satellite town.
