Traffic Police has barred the entry of autos, tempos and private vehicles in four major markets—Aminabad, Bhootnath, Hazratganj and Patrakar Puram—from Nov 6 to 9 to ease congestion during the Diwali shopping rush. The curbs are aimed at keeping key market stretches free of traffic as footfall rises sharply in the days ahead of the festival.
