The Thiruvananthapuram sewerage project may restart in December after the corporation approved 16th Finance Commission funding. A fresh lifeline appears to be in sight for the stalled Rs.157.5-crore sewerage project covering Attukal, Kalady and Ambalathara, with the city corporation moving to tap 16th Finance Commission. KWA plans Rs 3.52 crore sewer line upgrades at six Thiruvananthapuram locations, replacing ageing pipes with larger ones; work likely from December.
