The project, to be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, will include modern passenger waiting areas, bus parking facilities, a dedicated workshop and commercial spaces. Shivajinagar bus stand will become Pune’s Rs 825-crore multimodal hub linking MSRTC, Metro, railways, PMPML and auto-rickshaws. The redevelopment is expected to transform Shivajinagar into one of Pune's largest integrated transport hubs. The location already has access to two Metro corridors, Shivajinagar railway station.
