A comparison website has released a ‘Cycle Friendliness Index’ that evaluated 120 cities globally based on three key factors: the percentage of residents who cycle regularly, the number of cycling routes, and online interest in cycling and e-scooters. Melbourne has been named Australia's most cycle-friendly city, but all six mainland Australian cities still have plenty of work to do to catch the world's cycling leaders in a new international ranking.
