The Bombay High Court has upheld recommendations to withdraw amnesty benefits linked to a stalled Jogeshwari East slum rehabilitation project, allowing the SRA to invite fresh tenders for a new developer. The project covers 35 societies and about 7,200 eligible residents; transit rent arrears have crossed Rs 90 crore. The State Government will take the final decision.
