Democrat James Talarico claimed a historic victory in the Texas Senate race, taking aim at billionaires, big-money politics and what he called a divided political establishment. In his victory speech, the Senator-elect said his campaign overcame more than $300 million in spending, negative ads and AI deepfakes. Talarico declared that the real fight in America is not left versus right, but “top versus bottom”.
