With thousands of passengers expected to travel to their hometowns for Diwali, Southern Railway has announced five unreserved special train services between Chennai, Tambaram, Manamadurai and Trichy to manage the festival rush. Chennai Diwali special trains will run to Manamadurai and Trichy from November 6 to 10, with 12-car MEMU coaches and unreserved travel.
