Corning Incorporated has announced that its new optical connectivity manufacturing facility in Pune, India, is now operational. Co-located with Corning's existing optical fibre plant, established in 2012, the facility expands Corning's manufacturing presence in India. The facility manufactures optical connectivity products for data center and telecommunications network applications. Its opening builds on Corning's longstanding presence in India and supports the company's ability to serve customers in the region with optical connectivity solutions.
