The sequel to Priyadarshan's 2006 comedy Malamaal Weekly is moving ahead with a major change behind and in front of the camera. The upcoming film will reportedly have a new director and an entirely different cast, with neither Priyadarshan nor Riteish Deshmukh returning. The makers have reportedly finalised the casting and are preparing to announce the details soon.
