Police on Monday night seized crackers worth over Rs 40 lakh from two godowns at Saira village under Tirtol police station in Jagatsinghpur district and arrested three non-licence holders on charges of illegally hoarding crackers. Both godowns were amid densely populated areas and neither did they have any permits nor were the crackers stored in any scientific way.
