Days after Cyclone Arnab battered parts of southern and eastern India, another powerful storm has struck the eastern coast. Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu made landfall, triggering heavy rain and gale-force winds of up to 110 kilometres per hour across coastal Andhra Pradesh. Thousands of people have been evacuated to safer locations as authorities step up precautionary measures.
