A speeding Toyota Fortuner allegedly driven by an intoxicated driver rammed into pedestrians near Devashya School in Ahmedabad's Nikol area, killing a mother and her 15-year-old son. Two other pedestrians were seriously injured in the crash. Police reportedly recovered six beer cans from inside the SUV, while a medical test confirmed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver has been arrested as police investigate the fatal hit-and-run.
