The 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia has been rescheduled to December 23, 2027 – January 21, 2028, subject to FIFA approval. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed the new dates on Tuesday. The 24-team tournament was due to start on January 7, 2027, so the delay is nearly a year.
