Tension prevailed at the Nerellavalasa checkpost in Kotia of Koraput district after Odisha and Andhra Pradesh police personnel got involved in a heated exchange on Tuesday. The situation arose when Odisha Police stopped their Andhra counterparts from allegedly forcing their way into the area. The argument also involved the Koraput Sub-Collector and Patangi Tehsildar, who reportedly exchanged words with Andhra Police personnel.
