Every year, the Pavel Municipal Corporatio arranges decorative electrical lighting at various locations across its jurisdiction during Diwali. However, with Maharashtra facing drought, the administration has decided to cancel the arrangements this year. The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has cancelled its annual Diwali decorative lighting arrangements across all four wards this year in view of the drought situation in Maharashtra.
