In a first-of-its-kind initiative, women operators will run the entire Pink Line. Around 30 per cent of its electricity needs will also come from solar power. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated Pune Metro's 23-km Pink Line and launched Rs 13,500 crore Phase-II projects to expand connectivity across the city. The corridor will integrate with the existing metro network, providing seamless connectivity across different parts of Pune.
